World Robot Conference (WRC)
19–23 August 2026
Beijing, Beijing
Description
Beijing's largest international robotics exhibition: industrial and collaborative robots, humanoid platforms, components and automation solutions from leading Chinese and global manufacturers.
About WRC 2026
The World Robot Conference (WRC) is a major international robotics event that includes the World Robot Expo — an exhibition of robots and robotic solutions — as well as a business and scientific programme. In 2026 WRC runs on 19–23 August at the Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center (北京亦创国际会展中心) in Beijing. This year's theme is “Symbiosis of Man and Machine, Integration of Production and Demand”.
The World Robot Expo is especially interesting for buyers: the exhibition presents industrial, humanoid, service and specialised robots, key components and automation solutions, as well as technologies for various industries. For 2026, more than 300 companies, over 2,000 exhibits and more than 150 product premieres are announced.
Besides the expo, WRC includes the main forum, thematic events and the World Robot Contest. In 2026, more than 60 side events are planned, dedicated to technological innovation, practical applications of robots, the development of the industry ecosystem and international cooperation.
What's On — Forum, Expo & Contest
WRC 2026 brings together the business programme, the World Robot Expo — the robotics exhibition, the World Robot Contest and the WRC SARA academic symposium.
The World Robot Expo is the main draw for buyers. The exhibition part is what matters most for those looking for robotics manufacturers, components and automation solutions. For 2026, more than 300 companies, over 2,000 exhibits and more than 150 product premieres are announced. Pavilions A, B and C present industrial, humanoid, service and specialised robots, key components and ready-made solutions for various industries. Here you can see equipment working first-hand, compare manufacturers and discuss commercial terms with suppliers.
Main forum and thematic forums — the business programme covers humanoid robots, embodied intelligence, industrial automation, new technologies and practical applications of robotics.
World Robot Contest — competitions in fields related to embodied intelligence, human-machine interaction and robotic technologies. In 2026, more than 10,000 participants from 20+ countries are expected.
WRC SARA — Symposium on Advanced Robotics and Automation, an academic symposium on advanced robotics and automation, to be held on 21 August 2026. It is aimed primarily at researchers, engineers and specialists working with new robotics technologies.
If your trip is specifically about finding Chinese manufacturers and purchasing equipment, plan your time around the World Robot Expo first. Forums and contests can be added to the programme depending on your professional interests.
Who Should Visit
Manufacturers adopting automation — source industrial and mobile robots, AGV/AMR, machine vision systems, servo drives, reducers, key components and turnkey automation solutions.
Factory owners and production managers — see how robotics is applied in manufacturing, logistics, energy, healthcare, retail and other industries, and evaluate ready-made automation solutions for specific processes.
Engineers and researchers — attend the main and thematic forums on humanoid robotics, embodied intelligence, artificial intelligence, robotic technologies and new application scenarios.
Importers, distributors and EPC companies — establish direct contacts with manufacturers, find robotics and component suppliers, and discuss purchases and cooperation. In 2026, WRC places a special emphasis on sourcing negotiations and supply-chain interaction.
Investors — track new technologies, products and companies in the fast-growing robotics segments. WRC 2026 includes events dedicated to investment, financing and the development of the robotics industry.
Media and industry professionals — WRC is a good place to follow new products, technology trends and major industry announcements.
Venue & Getting There
Venue: Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center (北京亦创国际会展中心).
Search 北京亦创国际会展中心 in Baidu Maps.
By metro: the nearest station is Rongchang Dongjie (荣昌东街) on the Yizhuang Line (亦庄线). The exhibition center is about 200 m on foot from the station.
From Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK): a taxi/Didi is more convenient — ~60 min depending on traffic, up to ~¥150.
From Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX): a taxi/Didi is more convenient — about 40–50 minutes depending on traffic, up to ~¥150. A shuttle bus also runs from the airport to the Yizhuang area (stop Rongchang Dongjie/荣昌东街, near the exhibition center). It runs on a schedule, so check departure times in advance; the journey is substantial — usually 70 minutes depending on road conditions.

Before You Go
Visitor registration — register in advance on the official WRC system: worldrobotconference.com. On site, present your passport and the confirmation QR code/email.
Visa. Entry rules depend on your nationality — check the current requirements for your passport before booking. Russian citizens get visa-free entry to China for up to 30 days, including for business trips. Longer stays require a visa.
Opening hours. WRC 2026 runs on 19–23 August, from 09:00 to 17:00. If you plan meetings with manufacturers, arrive in the morning and don't leave key negotiations for the last day.
Weather. In late August Beijing is hot and humid: daytime temperatures are usually around 30 °C, with possible heavy rain and thunderstorms. Bring light clothing, an umbrella and water.
Where to stay. For a WRC trip specifically, it's most convenient to choose a hotel in the Yizhuang area or near the Yizhuang Line — the exhibition center is close to Rongchang Dongjie (荣昌东街) station. This way you can get to the fair quickly without long trips across Beijing.
For buyers: 20 August is Procurement Day, so if the main goal of your trip is finding manufacturers and negotiating with suppliers, put this day in your programme.
