Description
The largest and one of the most significant consumer goods fairs in China, held at the Yiwu International Expo Center. Displays include home and everyday goods, tools and equipment, electronics and home appliances, toys, stationery, sports and outdoor products and other categories. Aimed at international buyers, importers and distributors.
Yiwu Travel Tips — Yiwu
Airports
Yiwu Airport (YIW) is 11 km from the center. Taxi downtown: ¥15–40, ~20 min (Xiuhu Park area). There is no metro. Bus: ~60 min, ¥2. Some hotels offer a free shuttle.
Other airports: Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is a convenient alternative when there are no direct flights to Yiwu. Next to SHA is Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station (上海虹桥站) — take the high-speed train to Yiwu Railway Station (义乌站): ~2 h, ¥130–180.
Getting Around
A compact, walkable city. Buses ¥1–2. Taxis from ¥8. Didi is available. A must-visit: Yiwu International Trade City — the world's largest wholesale market: 5 districts, 75,000 booths. Vendors speak basic English and make heavy use of online translators. Set aside a full day.

Yiwu International Expo Center (义乌国际博览中心) — from YIW: taxi ¥15–40, ~25 min. From Yiwu Railway Station: taxi ¥18–50, ~30 min. Located next to Yiwu International Trade City (10 min by taxi), with many hotels within walking distance.
